Hey guys, i'd like to be in a band but unfortunately i dont have the
time at the moment to commit to something like that. So what i would
like to do id record a few songs of my own. I'd like to be able to
overlay guitar parts (probably only 2, maybe 3), have access to some
simple but REALISTIC sounding drum beats and maybe a few basic
effects. I have absolutely no idea where to start with this tho, as
far as both equipment and software goes. Could anyone give me a list
of essentials or reccomend some software? i'm not really bothered
about fancy effects n stuff but sound quality is very important. I
would be willing to spend up to £300 for the lot. Cheers everyone :)

I'm going to the midnight showing of Harry Potter and the Deathly
Hallows Part 2 at the IMAX near me. It is my first time going to a
midnight showing and I wanted to dress up in honor of the last movie.
I was wondering if other people usually dress up too when the go to

Is it ok if i do this?
I want to make music but i cant play guitar well enough and i dont
have enough money to buy and learn drums and bass (which is what i
wanna do) But will it be ok if i made songs on Mixcraft using loops
and add in some singing (from myself) and add in some short and easy
guitar parts (by myself as well) and post them on YouTube? Its less
creative since the loops arent my own creation but its the best i got
Plus i would like to become a YouTube partner with making these songs
but i dont know if it would be against YouTube's Partner requirements.
Partnership can give me some extra cash so i may then learn drums and

Whats a good guitar brand for just over intermediate player?
Hey guys, I'm looking at getting another electric guitar, to upgrade
from my samick. I'm just over intermediate skill level and i want a
guitar that sounds clean, and one that i can play a bit of rock on and
normal playing at the same time. Also get one that is a heavy metal

Making a movie but...?
So I'm starting to make a movie but I have a question before
filming... Can I use songs in it? Obviously if I'm just going to
youtube it it don't really matter but if I make it like an "actual"
movie is it copyright or anything? Like real songs? What if I get
someone to do a cover or get an unofficial version? Just wondering...
